 Current Procedures for Swine Flu
 
You may have heard that, as of late last week, the UK Health Protection Agency (HPA) has changed its swine flu strategy from 'containment' to 'treatment'. As a result, GPs will diagnose cases on the basis of symptoms rather than laboratory testing. We have amended our guidelines for participants at camps and employees accordingly, and include the new guidelines below.

BARFIELD SCHOOL AND THREE PEAKS ARE TAKING PRECAUTIONS TO MINIMISE THE SPREAD OF SWINE FLU

*Swine flu symptoms are similar to those of seasonal flu and include:

Sudden fever or sudden cough
Fatigue
Lack of appetite
Sore throat
Pain in muscles and joints
Headache and chills
Runny nose and sneezing
Possibly vomiting and diarrhoea
